Emboldened with the past success story and amplified in both passion and vigor, the two-day literary and cultural extravaganza conducted by the Postgraduate Department of English, Bharata Mata College -Chrysalis’ 17 - is back! Chrysalis endorses the perennial theme of ‘commoners for a cause or the second homecoming of plebeians’. This year’s pageant moves one step ahead of creating a platform for celebrating young talents, by coalescing fresh and dynamic hearts into the nobler theme of supporting and illumining ‘ Life’ - in all forms, at all levels. Chrysalis’17 seeks to lift up the dispirited, the disheartened and the dismissed, to restore respect from the undeserving sludge of indifference and mockery, to rekindle the love of life into the lost, the least and the last - AND to give them wings and the beauty of Life.
